Chicano Park Photo Journal

Chicano Park

As we began create art pieces for our exhibition our team took a field trip to Chicano Park. After learning about the history of Chicano Park: how the people of fought for the land they were promised and turned it into a beautiful representation of their heritage. We wandered the park and enjoyed the beautiful art and also got to speak to an artist about their piece and their work in Barrio Logan. We looked to the art to inspire our own political art pieces.
